Posted on 03/14/2016
Congratulations to Glacier Edge Kindergarten teacher Jennifer Krantz as she was recently named a recipient of The Herb Kohl fellowship program.
The program recognizes and supports teaching excellence and innovation in the State of Wisconsin. Fellowship recipients are chosen for their superior ability to inspire a love of learning in their students, their ability to motivate others, and for their leadership and service within and outside the classroom.
She was selected by a statewide committee composed of civic leaders, representatives of education-related associations and the program’s co-sponsors which have included in the past The Wisconsin Newspaper Association Foundation, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools (WCRIS), and regional Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESA).
One-hundred Wisconsin teachers, including Jennifer Krantz, received $3,000 and each Kohl Fellowship recipient's school receives a matching $3,000 grant. Congratulations to Mrs. Krantz! We are proud!
